Please dispose of unwanted photographs in the purple non-recyclables bin or the non-recyclables (general waste) skip at a recycling centre.
Photographs cannot be recycled because they contain layers of plastic and other chemicals which would contaminate recycling.
Negatives cannot be recycled as they are made of plastic film so should go in the purple bin or non-recyclables (general waste) skip.
Before disposing of photographs and negatives, check for sensitive information and images.
