The Arbroath West, Letham & Friockheim by-election will be held on Thursday 25 April 2024.

The Notice of Election will be published on Tuesday 5 March 2024. Nominations will be accepted by the Returning Officer between 10am and 4pm on any working day from Wednesday 6 March 2024 by appointment only. Please call the Election Team to make an appointment on 01307 491781. Nomination papers must be returned by hand to the Election Office, Digital Reprographic Unit, Sylvie Way, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar, DD8 1AY. Nominations papers submitted by email will not be accepted.
The deadline for submission of nomination papers is 4pm on Thursday 21 March 2024.

The Returning Officer will hold a meeting with all prospective candidates on Wednesday 3 April 2024 @ 3.30 pm to discuss local arrangements for holding the poll. This meeting will be held in Angus House, Orchardbank, Forfar.
