Kinloch Court is located in Carnoustie within walking distance of local amenities and close to the bus route accessing both Arbroath and Dundee.
The complex is made up of four one-bedroom and 24 two-bedroom self-contained cottages, all with a living room, kitchen and shower room, and garden.
All cottages are wheelchair accessible and there are communal lounge facilities, communal bathrooms, guest room facilities, and car parking. Each flat also has a call system, SMART, and fire safety technology.
There is a member of staff available 24 hours per day to provide advice and assistance when needed.
Who can apply?
Applications must be supported by a needs assessment completed by a care manager.
Applicants will normally be 60 years of age or older. Younger people who meet the criteria and would benefit from this accommodation may be considered.
Applicant’s care and support needs will be met by a Self Directed Support (SDS) package of support. Their care and support needs may be unpredictable and require unplanned intervention.
We will also consider if applicants would benefit from the safety and security of supported housing and access to communal facilities.
What costs are involved?
Angus Council sets standard charges for rent and services which are reviewed annually. You may be eligible for help to pay your rent, council tax, and any support services.
