Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing information and advice on our social media channels about the support available to help families struggling with income or money worries. This includes information about: 

Cost of Living Roadshow – Wednesday 9 October

On Wednesday in Arbroath, we have a Cost of Living Roadshow which we are running in partnership with Home Start where you can come along to find out about support available with bills, energy efficiency, money matters, skills and employability and much more.

  • Cost of Living Roadshow – Wednesday 9 October, 11.30am to 3.30pm, St Andrews Church, 21 Hamilton Green, Arbroath DD11 1JG

We’ll have more roadshows through the winter in different locations. Information to follow.


Friday 11 October, Get Ready for Winter – Home Energy Scotland event

On Friday, Home Energy Scotland is running a Get Ready for Winter event where you can get free advice on saving money and energy. 

  • Friday 11 October, Get Ready for Winter event, Strathmore Rugby Club in Forfar, 11am to 3pm.


Kids swim for £1, adults for £2 during October holidays

During the school holidays and thanks to funding from our Vibrant Communities, discounted swim sessions will be available with ANGUSalive through the October holidays. The offer is available for:

  • family swim sessions
  • public swim sessions

Bookings can be made with ANGUSalive up to 7 days in advance. bACTIVE lite membership (which is free) is needed for booking sessions.
