Changes to the Angus and Dundee Stagecoach bus services during the UCI Cycling World Championships

A number of Stagecoach bus services will be affected by the staging of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships.

Travel between Arbroath and Dundee will be impacted from 8pm on Sunday 6 August through to the end of service on Monday 7 August, as the area hosts the Gran Fondo Time Trial.

Stagecoach confirms that -

On Sunday 6 August from 8pm:

In a westbound direction from Arbroath towards Dundee, the following services will divert from normal route, not serving stops on the A92. Please expect longer journey times as a result. We will do our best to maintain scheduled departure times.

  • X7 service – a shuttle service will be in operation between Glendoick Garden Centre and Perth Royal Infirmary. Passengers may be required to transfer onto another vehicle.
  • 39 service – a shuttle service will be in operation between Kingoodie and Ninewells Hospital. Passengers may be required to transfer onto another vehicle.
  • 73 service – additional resource will be provided to maintain departure times.

On Monday 7 August (all day):

In a westbound direction from Arbroath towards Dundee, the following services will divert from normal route, not serving stops on the A92. Please expect longer journey times as a result. We will do our best to maintain scheduled departure times.
