Only a few days remain to make an application to the Angus Council Community Resilience Fund.
The fund, which is aimed at supporting resilience community groups and the vital work they do, closes this Friday, 22 November.
£160,000 has been secured for 2024/25 from a combination of sources, including Angus Council climate change reserves; Angus Rural Partnership; and an SSEN grant award. It is divided into two funding streams, providing £50,000 for community resilience and £110,000 for flooding-related emergency resilience.
Applications have been invited from 1 November following approval of the scheme by the Policy and Resources Committee (Report 317/24). The long-term aim is to strengthen and build capacity in local groups so they can be self-sustaining in the future.
If you want to submit an application but haven’t as yet, full details are on our Community Resilience Fund 2024-25 webpage or you can contact Jennifer Anderson on andersonj1@angus.gov.uk
Final decisions on funding awards will be made by Friday 6 December 2024. Applicants will be informed of outcome soon after.
