Footway resurfacing work is scheduled to start on Murray Street, Montrose on Monday 5 February.
The work will be between Victoria Street to the junction with North Street and is expected to take about seven weeks to complete. To try to minimise disruption, work will be completed in sections so that the time spent in front of individual premises is as short as possible.
Temporary traffic signals and a temporary walkway will be in place for safety at all times.
Access to businesses will be maintained, although there may be some slight delay when works are taking place directly outside an access.
Bin collections are unaffected.
If you, or anyone you know lives or works in the affected area and has any special needs, particularly with regards to access or mobility, please contact Angus Council so we can make any necessary arrangements.
We appreciate this work may cause some inconvenience and thank you in advance for your patience and co-operation. If you require more information, please email Roads@Angus.gov.uk or contact ACCESSLine on 03452 777 778.
