Road repairs at Rescobie (B9113)

Published on Wednesday 7 February 2024

Works to repair the B9113 at Rescobie are due to start on Thursday 15 February and are expected to last for nine days, weather permitting.

For safety reasons, a road closure will be in place during this work and a local diversion will be in place. Access will be extremely limited and anyone requiring essential access should alert a member of the workforce at the scene, who will then assist them safely through the works.

The signed diversion route is B9113 – A932 Arbroath Road, Forfar – A932 – A933 - B9113 - and the reverse.

Vehicle access to properties will be maintained but there may be some delay during certain stages of the works. Anyone who knows in advance that they will need access while work is ongoing is asked to speak with a member of the workforce who will advise and assist.

Similarly, if you, or anyone you know lives or works in the affected area and has any special needs, particularly with regards to access or mobility, please contact Angus Council so we can make any necessary arrangements.

Bin collections are not affected.

We appreciate this work may cause some inconvenience and thank you in advance for your patience and co-operation. If you require more information, please email Roads@Angus.gov.uk or contact ACCESSLine on 03452 777 778.
