The Eco (Energy Company Obligation) Flex 4 scheme has now launched in Angus.
About Eco Flex 4
The aim of Eco Flex 4 is to reduce fuel poverty in private housing occupied by low-income, vulnerable and fuel poor households.
Eligible households may be entitled to free or low-cost measures to improve the energy efficiency of their home.
Funded by major energy suppliers, Eco Flex 4 will help householders save on their energy bills and reduce carbon emissions.
The scheme will operate until 2026.
Scarf manage and administer a local scheme. Scarf will also deliver a programme on behalf of neighbouring local authorities.
How it works
Private tenure households may be contacted by one of the approved contractors. The contractor and Scarf will decide whether the household is eligible.
If the household is eligible, supporting evidence will be collected. After that Angus Council will provide the sign-off (declaration).

Please note
Having a declaration/referral does not guarantee that an energy supplier measure will install a measure in your home. The final decision rests with the major energy suppliers.
Referrals for ECO Flexible Eligibility Affordable Warmth funding will only be accepted from Home Energy Scotland (HES). HES is funded by the Scottish Government and delivered by the Energy Savings Trust. Scarf are our delivery agent.
