Nominations
The UK Parliamentary election will be held on Thursday 4 July 2024.
If you wish to stand for election you can download a nomination pack and the Returning Officer’s local guidance notes below:

Alternatively you can collect a nomination pack from the election office.
Nominations will be accepted by the Returning Officer by appointment only.
Appointments will be offered between 10am and 4pm on any working day from Monday 3 June 2024.
Nomination papers must be returned by hand to the Election Office, Digital Reprographics Unit, Sylvie Way, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar, DD8 1AY.
Nominations papers submitted by email or fax will not be accepted.

The deadline for submission of nomination papers is 4pm on Friday 7 June 2024.
The Returning Officer will hold a meeting after the close of nominations with all nominated candidates and their agents on Tuesday 11 June 2024 at 6pm to discuss local arrangements for holding the poll. This meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams.
