Angus Council has made the Angus Council (The Senior Open Championship, Carnoustie) (Exemption) Order 2024 under section 11(1) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003.
The effect of the Order is to exempt the Carnoustie golf links, and areas to the east of Carnoustie Links Hotel including the black slab carpark and adjacent grassed areas, from the access rights which would otherwise be exercisable in respect of that land by virtue of Part 1 of the Act.
