Our guidance notes for applicants (form CC4) gives information on the plans needed for a road construction consent application.
You should refer to the National Roads Development Guide for design standards. You can use form CC9 within the guide as a checklist to ensure your proposals meet these standards.
All plans should:
- have a title box including:
- development name
- developer
- scale
- drawing date
- individual drawing number suffixed with amendment number ABC/123a
- display a north point if in plan
- display individual scales if not that shown in the title box
A materials specification for the street lighting should also be included.
The surface water drainage proposal should be in accordance with Scottish planning policy and the Drainage Assessment, A Guide for Scotland ‒ contact SEPA for more information.
