Administrative Closure of Hayshead and St Thomas Nursery Classes

Consultation update

Following the decision of the Family, Education and Justice Committee on 26 March 2024 to approve the proposal to administratively closure Hayshead and St Thomas Nursery Classes, the Council informed Scottish Ministers of this decision in accordance with Section 15(2) of the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010.

The administrative closure of the Hayshead and St Thomas Nursery Classes will commence from Friday 28 June 2024. ELC provision will recommence as Abbey View Early Learning and Childcare Centre from Monday 12 August 2024.
