St Drostan’s Court is set in the heart of Brechin, within walking distance to local amenities. It is on the town service bus route which passes the bottom of the road.
The complex is made up of one or two-bedroom self-contained cottages, all with a living room, kitchen and shower room.
There are also:
- communal laundry facilities
- a communal lounge
- a communal bathroom
- guest room facilities
- car parking.
Each flat also has a call system, SMART and fire safety technology.
Onsite staff are available 24 hours per day to provide advice, support, and assistance.
Applications must be supported by a needs assessment completed by a care manager.
Applicants will normally be 60 years of age or older. Younger people who meet the criteria and would benefit from this accommodation may also be considered.
Applicants will have long term care and support needs which can be met by the onsite care and support. Their care and support needs may be unpredictable and require unplanned intervention.
We will also consider if applicants would benefit from the safety and security of supported housing and access to communal facilities.
What costs are involved?
Angus Council set standard charges for rent and services which are reviewed annually. You may be eligible for help to pay your rent, Council Tax and support services. If you would like to find out more or apply for supported housing you can:
