Applicable from April 2023
Not all services provided to support people at home are subject to a contribution. In Angus, services which cannot be charged for are as follows:
- Support for children under 18 years of age
- Looked after children up to the age of 21 years
- Personal care provision (any age group)
- Support for unpaid carers following an assessment of their needs
- Criminal Justice social work services
- Information, advice and signposting
- Palliative and End of Life Care where a GP has issued a SR1/DS1500 form for benefit purposes
- Laundry services for people who have severe incontinence and have no access to laundry washing facilities
- Volunteer Transport
- Support to people who are detained in hospital, or on a community- based treatment order, under the Mental Health Care and Treatment (Scotland) Act 2003, provided that this is detailed in the person’s care, treatment and/or support plan.
