The Glens Projects are for women aged 16 and over.
We have three hubs: in Arbroath, Forfar and Montrose.

We are made up of two teams who work closely together.
Glen Isla
The Glen Isla Project provides a statutory service to women within the justice system subject to various disposals both in the community and in custody.
We recognise women have gender specific needs and consider these needs alongside barriers women in the justice system face, as part of a trauma responsive approach. We work on a one-to-one basis, in groups, in our offices and in the community. We work closely with colleagues from Substance Use Services, Housing and Health as well as a variety of specialist services across Angus.
Glen Clova
The Glen Clova Project offers a voluntary service for women, aged 16 plus, affected by trauma. As above, Glen Clova use a trauma responsive and strength based approach in supporting women, ensuring they are empowered to identify their own goals. We then walk alongside women providing both practical and emotional support and guidance as needed, this is not time limited and can involve short and long term pieces of work. We aim to provide group opportunities, often in collaboration with other agencies, which focus on health, well-being and confidence building.
We work closely with our colleagues in Midwifery, Health and Social Work. However, women are not required to be open to any other services to receive support, and self-referrals are welcomed.
The Glens as a whole aim to involve women in service planning and delivery and encourage participation to ensure the service and activities being delivered and offered acknowledge their particular needs.
