We will invoice you for the cost of repairing any damage caused by accident or negligence, such as:
- lost keys
- a broken window
- a cracked wash-hand basin
You may also be recharged for other items damaged by you or your family when you terminate your tenancy.
This does not apply to damage caused by:
- fair wear and tear
- vandals (provided you have reported the damage to the police and us as soon as you discover it)
Insurance
Make sure you have an adequate household contents insurance policy.
The cost of an insurance policy is small compared to what you and your family could lose.
